Professional Practice
My professional practice centres on fine art print production, studio management, and technical operations.
With over 10 years of experience across specialist print studios, artist-led production environments, and independent workshop settings, I have developed a strong background in edition making, workflow planning, quality control, materials research, and team coordination.
I currently work as Print Studio Manager / Project Manager at HENI, where I built and scaled the in-house screen printing studio from scratch into a high-output production department. My role includes team leadership, production planning, scheduling, supplier liaison, sourcing, budgeting, technical oversight, artist communication, and cross-department coordination across print, framing, finishing, packing, and wider studio operations.
My background began in hands-on printmaking and studio practice, and over time expanded into broader operational leadership. I work across all stages of production, from artwork planning, film output, screen making, ink mixing, proofing, and print finishing, through to editioning, framing flow, packing, replacements, and delivery coordination. I am particularly experienced in building systems where none exist, solving technical and logistical problems, and keeping projects moving under demanding timelines.
Alongside management and delivery, I maintain a strong technical interest in materials, finishes, and process development. My experience includes specialist surface effects and advanced print experimentation, including metallic inks, varnishes, glitters, glow-in-the-dark finishes, leafing, and CMYK-style screenprint simulation. I have also worked extensively with suppliers, fabricators, photographers, conservators, and external production partners to support the delivery of high-value artworks and editions.
Previous roles include work with K2 Screen, Make-Ready, Jealous, West London Art Factory, Create Space Studios, and Motif Print Studio, across fine art editioning, studio operations, workshop management, print finishing, installations, and artist support. Through these environments, I have worked on projects connected to leading artists, galleries, and institutions, while developing a practice grounded in precision, adaptability, and production awareness.
